What are the technological
requirements to stream the online
videos?
You may use any PC or Mac that meets the following software and hardware requirements:
Hardware
* Display resolution of 800 x 600 pixels or greater
* Windows-compatible sound card
* Broadband Internet Connection (256 kbps & above).
PC Software
* Windows 2000, 2003, XP or Vista
* Windows Media Player version 9.0 or later
* Adobe Flash Player
* One of the following browsers:
o IE 7.0 SP1 or later
o Firefox 2.0 or later
Macintosh Software
* Mac OS X version 10.4.8 or later
* One of the following browsers:
o Firefox 2.0 or later
o Safari 2.0.4 or later
Will all the videos be available for viewing anytime?
Yes indeed! View them anytime, from anywhere, any number of times. Downloading the videos is forbidden. Further, multiple logins are strictly prohibited. If multiple logins are detected, your account will be suspended.

I am retaking the Level I exam. Do I qualify for any special discounts?
As part of our Passeverance Program, we also offer a 40% discount to all students who are reappearing for the Level I exam.
So I can qualify for the Passeverance Program even if I have never used Elan Guides before?
Yes. The CFA designation is worth striving for. We want to give you all the encouragement we can.
Do you provide tracking numbers once orders are shipped?
Yes. All our orders are delivered either via Fedex or through DHL. Tracking numbers are provided within 24 hours of orders being processed upon request.

Is it true that I can just purchase one lecture or
even just one study guide reading from
you?
Absolutely! The
custom packages feature allows you to make your own package. You can
also purchase individual readings, videos and practice questions. Just
keep on adding to your cart and check

Do your materials work on
the I-pad, kindle and other e-book
readers?
Our readings and
practice questions are available in portable document format (pdf). They
work fine on all devices that support pdfs. Our videos also stream on
Apple devices.
Are your videos only
available for streaming or do you offer them for download as
well?
Our videos are
currently only available for streaming. You may not download them.
However, we do offer them on CDs as
well.
I have just made a purchase.
Where do I find the materials I
ordered?
All the products
that you have purchased are available in your dashboard through the My
Products link in the Dashboard sub-menu. You will see an ‘open’ or
‘play’ button next to the materials that you have obtained access to.
For materials that you have not purchased yet, you’ll see an ‘Add to
Cart’ button.
Who do I go for help if I am
having problem understanding some
material.
All Elan Guides
customers have access to our moderated forum where candidates can help
each other or seek help from our content team and teaching assistants
who are regular visitors
themselves.
